The Calm Town, beutiful view, nature, we loved it. Bakkafjörður rules. There was a little summerfest at the campsite music and fun. We were warned and it was exelent... Burgers were very good, Athomspere recomended.

We were there for 2 days this summer as well, we ate dinner at the restaurant the burgers were great and the next day we had lunch and it all tested very good and the people owning the place were so friendly and nice, can only recommend it.

We stayed in the guesthouse with our 8 months old baby and had a great time. It's a funny set up as the building used to be the community's school, so it still has a "kindergarden" area with lots of toys and a gym where you could play basketball or ping pong. Great for families with kids!

Friendly host, great location. Comfortable Room, pleasant common rooms, including the gym! Fully equipped kitchen. Nice restaurant /bar nearby. We'll be back!
